Patagonia just wrote a great article in their blog about New Zealand and the wool that they import from the South Island. Although they claim it is about the wool they use it is really a great story about one of the emplyee’s trip to New Zealand. It just so happens that he went to visit where Patagonia get’s their wool. Either way the between the pictures and the great detail about what an amazing place New Zealand is, I want to call up Christie and tell her that Syd, Maia and I’ll be in
Christchurch tomorrow. Sadly, I’ll still be here.

If I’ve ever discussed the election process in our country (especially the dismal turnout), I’ve probably mentioned wanting the desire to choose “I Abstain” as opposed to the lesser of two candidate evils. I typically express this by voting for the underdog (typically Nader), but having this option in black and white will allow people to expressly state “These candidates suck.”
This option may soon be available in Florida, one can only hope it quickly catches on. Maybe then our voting turnout will be closer to France where 84% of registered voters recently showed up for the primary election. No wonder we all hate the French they are better at democracy than we are - and we started the process.

By the way, since everyone is waiting with baited breath,
No we don’t have a new baby yet, and yes we’ll make sure to let everyone know when we do.
The below article from the New Yort Times was posted on JimBurkee.com (running for 5th District of the US House) this evening and all I can say in response is ‘Hell yeah.’
I agree with everything written in this article. There is no debate about global warming but as there is a realization that our problem [...]
