Back to the Grind
Well we are back home and at our second day of work since our vacation. As our luggage (including our bikes, toiletries and house keys) didn’t arrive until 3pm yesterday we haven’t unpacked yet. (Did I ever mention I hate American Airlines?)
We will try to get more pictures posted to the website soon - we looked at them for the first time with my mom and Dave on Tuesday night. There are some good ones - but of course nothing as amazing as being there.
It is good to be back home, we just wish we weren’t at work yet, as the red-eye and the jetlag is still impacting both of us…
Maia is missed us, but has adapted to being back at home well. She gives us seemingly random hugs, but we like it — a lot. We really started to miss her the last couple days when we were bored in Waikiki and traveling home.
Thank you to everyone for reading our travelog - I hope that it provided some amusement to you while we were gone.
Next big trip - cycling in Maine…

Thanks for the vicarious visit to HI where I lived with Joey and Otto for half a year and was visited by Amos and neighbor, Adam, for six weeks in 1986. We rented a cottage about 2 miles up the mountain from Napoopoo beach in Kealakekua Bay. You know where that is! Captain Cook.
Glad that you’re home safely and happily!
Love,
Michael
