You know its a good day when you are able to eat all of your meals outside and spend more time outside than inside…
Today we started our morning with breakfast on the patio then went sailing for threeish hours at the Milwaukee Sailing Center. After getting home we had lunch on the patio and then struggled to not take a nap.
Thankfully I persevered over the nap and went to Lowes to get supplies for our garden fence. When I got home Maia helped me build a gate in the garage and dig the holes for the posts. After finishing digging we had a great dinner on the patio with a fire in the chimenea. Following putting Maia to bed and getting approximately 1000 hugs and kisses, Syd and I poured the concrete for the gate posts and pounded in the corner posts.
Now to top it all off Syd is getting me fresh Cookies and Cream custard from Kopps.
Yes it was a good day.
