The below article from the New Yort Times was posted on JimBurkee.com (running for 5th District of the US House) this evening and all I can say in response is ‘Hell yeah.’
I agree with everything written in this article. There is no debate about global warming but as there is a realization that our problem is bigger. Our dependence on foreign oil is a national security issue, a financial issue and our current sources of energy have great negative impact beyond global warming (pollution, cancer, etc.). At this point anyone who thinks we don’t need to green-up our act not looking at the whole picture in my opinion.
