The midwife broke Syd’s water around 5 and Tarek James was born at 7:42. The actual birthing only took 10 minutes! I’ll provide more details later as I’m on my BlackBerry, but he was 8 lbs 7 oz! And 20.5 inches long.

Both Tarek and Syd are doing great! Enjoy the pictures!

9. Hooray!!!! Congrats from the Crofts. He’s sooooo cute! Can’t wait to snuggle him.

   Let us know when Maia needs a playdate. It’s hard work being a big sis, but I’m sure she’ll be awesome.

10. CONGRATULATIONS YOU GUYS!!! I was so excited to see this subject line, and that you had a little boy!!! Tarek looks wonderful!! And what an awesome name you chose for him, I absolutely love it! I can’t believe he was 8 1/2 lbs, sydney didn’t seem big enough! I’m so thankful everything went so smoothly and rapidly. I absolutely cannot wait to see pictures with his very proud big sister, and of course more with the whole family. I hope Sydney is feeling well (she’s so tough!), and that you guys have a great transition introducing your new little family member to this big big world.

11. Congratulations! You got your boy. I wa getting worried as the days went past Sydney’s due date.It sounds like Tarek is a chubby one.
